Admission Process
Admissions to all full-time MBA programs at NMIMS SBM Mumbai are exclusively through NMAT by GMAC 2025. Candidates must register for NMAT () and separately for NMIMS () by the deadline (typically October 2025). Only the first NMAT attempt score is considered.
Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories). Shortlisting for Stage 2 is based on NMAT overall + sectional scores (official 2026 cutoff: 209 overall with minimum 60 in each section for General category; varies by program).
Stage 2 (offline at Mumbai campus, Feb–March 2026): Includes Competency Assessment / Written Aptitude Test (50% weightage), Personal Interview (10%), plus evaluation of work experience (10%), academic record (10%), and NMAT score (20%). Psychometric test may also be conducted. Final merit list is prepared on composite score; program/campus preferences are considered.
Shortlisted candidates receive calls via dashboard. Offer letters are released in multiple rounds; admission is confirmed on payment of first installment. Reservations follow university norms. International candidates have separate pathways. The process is highly competitive (acceptance rate <1%) and holistic.
